fraternities and sororities
- 17 chapters are members of the
Fraternity and Sorority community
- The Fraternity and Sorority GPA (3.08) is currently
higher than the all University average
(3.04)
- Fraternities and sororities average at least
10 hours of service per member each year
- Fraternities and sororities raise thousands
of dollars each year for a variety of philanthropies
including Cystic Fibrosis Research, Operation Homefront,
Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Prevent
Child Abuse America, and the Horace Mann School
among others
- 13% of NU's "Top 100 Most
Influential Seniors" for 2007 were Fraternity or Sorority members
